Well, as i've promised to update my blog, here it goes..a new post from me...hhmm..actually, i also dunno what to write...life's been pretty good..fyi, i've moved out from the dorm and having my own apartment's really nice...get to cook whatever i want...have my own room by myself...and all these good things which i couldn't have if i were to live in the dorm...however, i do miss dorm life though...it's just different..but, i still prefer living outside...hehe...was really busy before this with my classes..but, things are better now since i've dropped my anatomy and physiology class..that class really drove me crazy!!!i had quiz and test every freaking week..it was just bad..neway, good news people!!!i'll be coming home in SUMMER 09!!!!was actually planning to do my internship at first..but then..after talking to my advisor, she said it'll be better for me to do it later after i graduate...so, yea mich..ill definately be going for the bangkok trip!!!!hooorayyy....do help me look around for cheap tics to bali..mayb i could join u guys also..hehe...i don't wanna stay in kl alone!!!so..help me look around k!!n guess what?i'll be going to Canada again for the 3rd consecutive year for Christmas!will be celebrating white christmas again with my sisters and family...not complaining though as i really miss little Malcolm...he's really cute now...can't wait to see him...so, guess that's all for now..miss all you!!

since i am still awake due to the neslo ice i consumed earlier, i decided to blog about my AWESOME hong kong trip...why would i end up going for this trip?must really thanks mich for that..was talking to that girl one day in February or March, and she suddenly told me that she's going to Hong Kong with Adeline and some of Adeline's friends..and I was like...what???i wanna go too!!!and believe it or not...i made the decision on that day itself on the phone that i'll be going with them without even consulting my parents!well, i didn't know what made me did it, but i guess the cheap air tics kindda contributed to my decision...i gave all my details to mich instantly and what's left to do next??inform my parents about it..haha...was kindda scared to let them know at first coz, as usual..they always think that i spent way too much of money..so, i waited and waited for the right time...time passed real quick and i still didn't inform them until i came back to malaysia....at first..i really didn't have the courage to tell them bout it...but, the trip was drawing nearer....hence, i told my mum one day that i bought an air tic to hong kong with michelle and her sister...was really surprised that my mum actually didn't say anything!she didn't even nag nor scolded me for that...lucky me..so yea, that's how i ended up going for this trip...
that aside, we left on 20th and came back on the 27th of July...although the whole trip was quite tiring, it was really fun...we did not follow any tours..we just went around by ourselves...i felt really lucky that i was able to join them for this trip as i didn't even have to do any research bout hong kong...they did everything..hehe...one of the girls actually bought a book about hong kong and we basically went to all the restaurants and places which it recommends..the food was great..we had almost the best of everything in Hong Kong...the best egg tarts, 'bo lo pau', steam egg and milk, roasted goose and many other stuff...
besides, we also travel to a lot of places and seriously...all i could say bout hong kong is..it's filled with people!!!loads of people!!i was amazed and stunned to see the amount of ppl in wongkok the first day i arrived...basically..the whole road are just people...it's just crazy....oh, and everything in hong kong is fast too..the escalator is fast...and the way people walk, talk and eat are also fast..it's really scary getting on the escalator coz, it moves much faster compared to the one we have here in malaysia..i'm just so not used to it..so, i was always very careful when taking the escalator, afraid of getting trip and fall..
okay..i guess i'll stop here first and show u the pics..shall continue when i have time..

as you can see, i've been missing for a while..without even realizing it, i'm already back for almost 3 months and will be flying off soon..in another 2 weeks' time..i guess what yan and mich said's really true..the longer u stay..the more you're relunctant to leave and i totally agree with it..as what i told some of you, when i first arrived, especially the first week, i actually miss US though the life i lead there's really boring..but, i guess it was because i was having jet leg that time..i woke up at 4 every morning, sat in the living room alone and watch astro!how sad is that!!thank god that only lasted for bout 4 or 5 days...well, that wasn't just it la actually...i was feeling really low also coz i gained 10kgs and just didn't feel like going out...afraid of bumping into people i know..that aside, i'm really happy now...had a lot of fun hanging out with u guys...the mamak, shopping, eating, cooking and travelling sessions were fantastic!!not forgetting..thanks guys for making my 21st birthday a great and memorable one!!!! besides that,the hong kong trip i went was awesome!!!really had a lot of fun there..must really give credit to mich for bringing me along for this trip...i'll have one post just bout the hong kong trip later..

as the day of me coming home is getting closer..i'm getting more stressed out each day..stressed bout how to lose weight or at least..shed a little before coming back..it's just sad..sigh..i knew i've gained weight..but, i really didn't notice that i've actually gained THAT much untill i saw the pictures that i took when i did a presentation about Malaysia to the rest of the students here with other Malaysians last fri..it was really fun though..was quite nervous before doing it..but, everything went well...we cooked curry chicken and fried some mamak style maggi goreng for all the people that came..and i wore saree!!!can u believe it??i also dunno how come i dare to wear saree..but, it was really interesting..learning how to tie and walk with a saree..it's really hard..
btw, i guess the stress is really getting into me..coz i've been having a lot of night dreams...i dream that i went to pasar malam with my cousin and i kept buying food..like u know..totally out of control...macam 10 days tak ada makan like that...until my cousin has to stop and tell me that i still have 3 months to eat in Malaysia...gosh..i know it sounds stupid..but, i also dunno how i can end up with this kind of dream..and i realize that the more i try to control my intake of food..the more i binge...how?how?how?god..help me pls!!!

hey guys..i'm back!haha..after suchhhh a longgg timeee huh? some of you might probably think that my blog's dead already..actually, i thought of closing it also since i don't update it anymore...decided not to coz i think i'll update it once a while..not as often as i used to though..but, this will be a good place to keep u guys updated about my life...
sigh..as i'm writing this entry, spring break's coming to an end already..one week of holidays passed just like that..so fast! at first..i thought i'll be bored till death since i didn't go anywhere..can u believe it?i stayed here in pittsburg for this whole spring break!!was actually planning to go to st.louis, a city in Missouri..bought the bus tics and decided to leave on mon..however, the plan was canceled on mon itself when we were in the bus station as the bus that we're supposed to board broke down..and we were asked to board another bus which is an hour later.. worst is..we have to stand all the way to springfield, which is 2 hours away..so, decided to call it off...and went shopping after that..didn't get anything though..but, had fun and that day ended just like that..
woke up at 11ish on tuesday and start chatting with amy...asked her what she normally does when she's home alone..coz, i was sooo freakkingg bored!!!regretted like hell for calling off the trip..should have just go on with the plan...guess i really can't stay in the room for long..when i sit more than 3 hours in front of the comp...i'll feel uncomfortable..so, i walked to one of the grocery shop near my dorm alone....came back...cooked and invited my friends over for dinner..then, went to starbucks for coffee..and that's it..another day ended just like that..
on wednesday...woke up at 1 something..and watched the malaysiandreamgirls...well, i think the girls are okok only..among all the girls, i dislike Cindy the most..she just give me an impression that she's damn fake..with her unnatural and fake accent...really cannot take it man!..
in fact..i prefer adeline..though she can't really speak...i think she's really cool..especially with her hairstyle..i think she'll definately make it if she has more confident..still remember what she replied elaine when elaine asked her how much she wanted this title..'deeper than ocean and higher than mountain'...lol..can't wait to see who's gonna win..

Beginning of a new sem!

I'm supposed to be sleeping right now...it's the first day of class tomorrow and i'm really excited and looking forward for that..i'm gonna forget all the unhappy things which i experienced here and start everything anew..well, since i can't sleep, i shall tell u guys a little bout my trip in seattle...the weather was really cold there..anyway, we went to the space needle, pike's market, seattle's zoo...hhmm..where else?oh, we went to seattle's outlet mall and all the downtown shopping malls as well..however, didn't get anything much as i'm on a tight budget...spent a lot of money there eating..guess wat?when we first arrived on the first night, we went to the wrong restaurant...accidently went inside this french restaurant with a lot of old ng mos..and almost every table has wine..anyway, since we were already inside, we were too pai seh to leave just like that..so, we decided to just go in and order something cheap..looked at the menu and were shocked when we saw the price..the cheapest on the menu's $15..and everything's in french...so, we had to ask the waiter to explain and recomend anything nice to us..my friend told the waiter that he wanna try some seafood and the waiter recommended this seafood thingy which cost $29..my friend said ok and guess what came out?2 shrimp and 3 scallops!!!!29 US DOLLARS for 2 SHRIMP and 3 SCALLOPS!!!!!can u believe it???that's like what?bout 100 ringgit k..goosh...he wanted to kill himself when he saw his plate of food...anyway, mine's not any better..i ordered something the cheapest on the menu..$15...guess what came out?a small bowl of superb salty veges with a few chicken!!damn sakit hati man...feel like killing myself for going to this restaurant!the worst thing is..we still have to leave some tips after eating..and u know..we can't just leave 2/3 dollars in this kind of restaurant..so, we left bout 10 dollars..sigh..then, we proceeded to another restaurant after that as all of us were still hungry...we went to this restaurant called 'the cheesecake factory' and the food there's really good...the pasta's fantastic man..if u ever see this restaurant anywhere...go try out their pasta...yummy...hehe...though it's like $15 dollars for a place of pasta..i think it's worth it as the serving's pretty big...so, dinner for that day itself cost me bout $40 already including all the tax and service charges..sigh...then, the next day we went for seafood..conclusion is..most of the meals cost us around $20 + and at the end of the trip all of us think that $20+'s normal for a meal and anything below $20's consider cheap...haha..we were all immune to paying $20+ for a meal in seattle..when we were in pittsburg last time..we would consider meals which cost more than $10 as expensive..haha..but of course..since i'm back in pittsburg..i will still think that meals which cost more than $10 as expensive here..

New Year Resolutions?

hey guys!as most of you know, i was in canada for my winter break...and i'm now back in the states..am currently in seattle for a 4 days trip..just arrived here last night and will start my sightseeing tour officially today...so, what did i do when i was in canada?hhmm.nothing much really..the main reason i was there was obviously to visit my sister and her family...secondly was to eat some good food since i'm gonna be stuck in that small town again for the next 5 months before being able to go home for summer break..neway, while everyone's out there counting down and having fun for christmas and new year, i was at home..how sad is that..this has been the same for 2 consecutive years!!hopefully, this year's christmas'll be more exciting..it's just different when you stay in a place far away from the city like my sister...located on the hill, my sister's house's really nice and comfortable...the air's really fresh and u know..with the snow and stuff..you just feel like lying on your bed all day long..with that house..sometimes you wouldn't even mind staying at home the whole day watching tv or do some cooking..i'm serious..that's if i don't have much intake of food..but, with the way i eat, i just can't stay at home being a couch potato..though it still requires some 'finger exercise' (yan)...talking bout this..i'm just so depressed right now...guess what my sis said when she met me??she said i look like when i was in high school right now!!!!as in..my body figure's like when i was in high school!!!that's soooooo deeeprrreesssinnggg k!!!!so, this leads me to this entry's title...new year resolutions...
1st resolution of the year:
-start working out and losing weight..to at least my previous weight..

-manage my money better
3rd:
-be more positive
4th:
-be more firm on everything i do..
well..obviously these are not all..i think i still have a lot of things which i hope to accomplish this year..

hey guys!
sorry for missing a while...was kindda busy before this with the deepavali festival and some quizzes...was chatting with yan the other day and she said that she's happy to hear that i'm actually busy because of quizzes coz, it shows that i actually studied..have to admit that i think i did change a little..used to not care about exams and take them really lightly..u know...light till the stage where i can go into the exam hall without knowing anything! and the best part is..i can still take them easily and relax..without worrying how my grades will turn out to be...seriously didn't know how i managed to do that especially that i'm always surrounded by so many smart people like u guys..sigh..neway, as what i've said..i've changed a little now..in fact, i realize the change when i was in help...i actually study though it's not like one week earlier or wat..and i get really nervous before exams..just dunno why....guess it's good that i feel that way..at least i put in more effort on my studies now...ok..enough bout all these..
woohooo...my sem's going to end soon!!!can't believe it man..it's gonna end in a month's time!and i'll be leaving for canada after that..and when i come back..my new sem will start..and for all i know..it'll be time to go back to malaysia d for summer!!!hooorraaayyy!!!haha..i know..it's a little over..but, i can't wait man to go back to malaysia!!!i feel like i'm trapped here k..coz, i've no car and i've no instant atm machine (my dad)!!!haha...really lor..it's so cham here..i guess i'm too used to getting money from him whenever i'm broke that i suck in managing my money now!!gosh..it's just so difficult to budget!!i always tell myself..ok kpy..u can only spend USD 40 this week..and yes..ur right..i always end up using more than that.. HELP!!!!anyway, dun be mistaken ppl..i seldom shop here..i spend a lot on food!!!!therefore, i've decided to get a part time job next sem..hopefully i'll be able to get one..wish me luck ppl!that's it for now..bye!

hey guys!
well, just to let u know, i'm still alive despite the lack of updates..well, i've been quite busy lately with my assignments and stuff..so, yeah..that's like the main reason why i haven't been updating my blog..besides, i seldom take pictures..so, that explains why there're no pics here..well, believe it or not..i actually skipped 2 days of classes, last thurs and fri to go for a trip...well, that was my first time skipping class though...so, i think it's forgivable..haha..i followed my friends to witchita, a big city which is located 2.5 hours drive from where i am now, pittsburg..i guess it's not too bad actually living in pittsburg though it's a small town coz u'll be really excited and happy when you get to visit other big cities..and most importantly..the living cost here's much lower compared to bigger cities..the normal mcd mean here cost bout 5+ usd...and i heard that the same meal cost bout 10usd in big cities like san francisco..so, kindda glad i'm here..oh, there're no malls here too..meaning less shopping for me...i bet u must be wondering why then that i always complain that i'm broke..hhmm..the reason is because i spend a lot of money on food..serious..well, when there's nothing for u to do..u'll just eat and eat..and one meal cost bout roughly 10usd if u go for dinner here..i'm talking bout chinese food..if u go for american food..it'll cost about 13/15usd...including tips, which sucks!it's so unfair man eating here..coz, u have to pay tips everytime!i seriously dun understand why noone complain bout this tips thingy man!the only party which benefits most is the boss..coz, they pay these waitresses or waiters real low..if i'm not wrong..it's bout 3 usd per hour..and these waitresses/waiters can easily earn up to 100/200/300 dollars per day..depending on what kind of restaurants they work in just by taking tips...and we, the consumers who've already paid so much on the food..still have to fork out at least 10% to pay them..i mean..if the food's cheaper or wat..then, it's fine..but, the food's not!and we're obligated to give tips most of the time..i mean..u can choose not too..but, it's kindda rude to do so...so yeah..giving tips really sucks man!ok..enough bout that..back to my trip..i actually didn't do much in this trip..spend one day in witchita and another day in another town called liberal..which is just as small as pittsburg...believe it or not..we went hunting there!!and i actually hold a real gun!!!almost got a rabbit..but, it ran away b4 we shoot it..lucky u little fellow! it's like my first time man holding a real gun!those hunter's gun...haha..too bad i didn't bring my camera..sigh..i'll make sure i'll bring my camera along if i go there next time..ok..that's all for now..gotta go take my shower..take care ppl!

guess wat ppl?i'm actually gonna take part in the the deepavali event here!lol..kpy's gonna wear sari and WALK DOWN THE RUNWAY man!!!haha..i can't believe it myself too..was actually quite hesitent to do so at first..coz, shy la..wanna show my spare tire..but, after being persuaded and assure that i'm gonna look fine..i finally gave in and agreed to take part..besides, it's really boring here..so, u know..it's fun to take parts in all these activities and get to know ppl..well..i guess the main reason was because i think i'm not the fattest among all the models!haha..i'm damn mean..but seriously..if all the girls have body like u guys, i wouldn't even think of taking part k..memalukan diri sendiri only..so yeah..have to work harder now to lose a bit of weight..AT LEAST..A LITTLE LA...so that my spare tire wouldn't be THAT obvious..haha..it's gonna be on the 3rd of November and i PROMISE i'll put up some good pictures for u ppl to see and comment too..haha..till here then! take care guys!

hey guys..thanks for all the messages on the chat box!i'm ok already now..feeling much better..it's just that u know..whenever i'm alone in the room..i'll think about the stuff back home and i'll start missing u guys..but honestly speaking..i feel that my life here's like a routine every week..weekdays will be reserve for class while weekend will be almost the same every time..attending parties or going to my friend's place to cook..well..probably i just have to accept the fact that...there's nothing much for me to do here and i should not complain so much..should start taking everything positively..ok..enough bout that..so, as wat i told u guys b4 this..i sat for my psychology paper the other day..and i'm happy to say that i think i did pretty good in that test..haha..really happy bout it..oh, and i'm now planning for my year end break..will most probably be going to canada again..to see little malcolm..haha..i think he's pretty big now..and guess wat?they'll be going back to malaysia in november..so, if u guys wanna c them..especially yan and jwei..just give my sis a call and drop by my place..i bet they'll be very happy to c u guys..ok..that's it for now..gotta get back to my assignment..here's some pics that i took recently:

sigh..i just dunno what's wrong with me..i should really be studying but, i just feel very down right now..dunno why i suddenly feel like crying..am i too stressed?shouldn't be rite? well, mayb it's pms..everytime around this period..i'll be like this..and i'll think that my life is very miserable..and i'm very lost....and i miss u guys and my family very much!!!well, i guess mayb i'm really stressed coz, i only started studying yesterday night..spent the whole day in library today..but, i really have no idea whether it was useful or not..i'm just so tired right now..just finished one of my paper yesterday..and it was really bad...was superb stressed when i was doing that paper..had 85 mcqs and guess wat?ppl started leaving the classroom after 15 mins!!!swt man!and yes, u guess it right..i was the last to leave..when the last person b4 me left..my professor assure me that it's alright..take my time..but my mind was practically blank!hand was freezing cold!can't even shade the scantron paper anymore..sigh..it was really really bad..thank god that paper's only around 10%..sigh..tomorrow'll be another nightmare again...there'll be 72mcqs..and the worst part is..it's general psychology!!have to memorize everything about the brain and all the history of psychology!can really die man!especially when u ask me to memorize all the parts of the brain like nervous systems, medulla, amygdala and all these shit!but, from reading all this, i realize that there might be a problem with my hippocampus..which may explain y i'm so bad in memorizing....bad..bad..bad...can't wait for tomorrow's test to be over!

It's almost 12am now and i just came back from wallmart!believe it or not..i walked home!!!damn tired man!!walked for bout 1.5 hours with my bagpack fulled with 10 apples, 1 cantoulope, 2 boxes of cereal, and some cloth hangers!!!and yes..ur right..i think my bag's about 5 kgs after putting all those things in..but, it was a good exercise though..well, didn't plan to walk home at first..but, we were too busy buying stuff till we missed the last bus..see..the buses here are damn 'peh'..only operate till 8.15pm...so, we were left walking home...neway, we went for dinner before that at this chinese restaurant named yummy but nah..the food's not so yummy afterall..it was just ok..by the way, can u guys c..i bought so many fruits!i'm trying to be healthy here...haha..oh, i also bought two packets of fritos!haha..fritos's damn good man!!u guys must really try it if u happen to see one..it taste something like twisties..but, much better..so yea..a must try chips..okok..guess that's all for today..will update again on another day!take care!

i'm back!well, as i've promised, i'll update my blog once i get back from my trip..so, here i am..updating my blog..well, as u ppl know, i went for a trip because monday was a labor day here...so, the inital plan was to go to dallas, texas for a 4 days trip with a bunch of koreans..however, due to some i-also-dunno-what reasons, they've called it off..so, left me, a taiwanese girl, a finnish and brazilian guy without any plans..hence, we came up with a plan on thurs night and left for out trip on fri!cool and efficient huh?hehe..we rented a car and drove about 2 hours to this lake called Sequoyah Bay State Park and believed it or not we actually bought tents, sleeping bags and air mattresses just for this 4 days trip!!haha..it was really fun as it was the first time for me to sleep in tents!i've been to many camps..but, to stay in the tent, i think this's like the first time..oh no..wait..probably the second..the first was when i went for the christian camp in form 3 where mich went home after the first day of arrival..lol!do u still remember mich?haha..neway, back to this trip..we basically didn't do anything much as it was too expensive to rent a boat there..cost bout $150 for 2 hours!crazy huh?hence, we decided to just chill and relax and swim in the lake..the lake's really clean..totally different compared to malaysia's titiwangsa lake..i should really put up some pics for u guys to see but, the pics are in my friend's camera and as usual, i'm just not that efficient when it comes to pics..haha..will upload them once i get it..so, what have i been doing lately besides going to this trip?nthing much really...have been trying to come up with my eating plans coz, i think i'm going to die soon if i continue eating like this..i'm not kidding guys..i'm so serious bout it..everynight before i sleep, i'll think of what to eat tomorrow so that i wouldn't junk of u know..eat unhealthily..unfortunately..i always fail!!gosh..it's really hard..especially when ur surrounded by so many devil food around!!and the worst is..it's just so troublesome to cook here!sigh..was talking to this korean senior the other day and the conversations went like this:

casey:hey, how do u survive here with all those fast food huh?and the best thing is, ur still so skinny!!!
cory:oh, i don't really eat a lot..even if i do, i don't get fat..thanks to my genetics..
casey: (eye rolling)what the heck?it's so unfair!
cory:haha..yeah..a lot of girls are jelous..
casey:yeah, i'll definetely be the first! neway, what about ur friends?do most of them get fat after coming here?

It's 11.10 am right now and i just came back from my photojournalism class..had my breakfast and decided to update u guys with what have happened these few days...as what i've mentioned in my last post, i went for a farm trip last sat and here it is...the pics i took there..

well, the farm trip was kindda fun..but, we didn't do anything much..just visited the corn farm, and the dunno what national park which has a lot of all this buffalos called bixons..you can just see them hanging around in the field!and they're dangerous..so, we're not allowed to get close to them..can just see them from a distance..the one up there on the pic's a fake one..hehe..
hhmm..wat next?oh yeah...just to let u ppl know, i've changed my major!sudden huh?i was actually thinking about it when i was in Malaysia whether mass com's really what i wanna do or not..coz, i would love to do something related to sports or health.definately not medicine..so, after coming here..i've decided to major in recreation..emphasizing in community, corporate & hospital wellness and minoring in communication...i guess this's better for me because i don't really have to go really deep into those chemistry or biology...so far, for this sem, i'm taking first aid and cpr, kickboxing, photojournalism, intro to recreation and leisure and the designed world!!i know u must be wondering why do i have to take arts and others since they're not really related to my major..but, this's what they do here..it's the system..we just have to learn everything and i love it!i mean..i enjoy it..so, what will i end up doing after i graduate...well, i can work in the fitness centre?or erm..those recreation centres..and many more actually..so, no worry ppl..kpy'll definately be able to get a job in the future..okay..i guess that's all for today..shall update again..have to rush for my next class now..take care ppl!!!and call me if u guys are free!!my room number is 1620-240-7263 and my cellphone number is 1620-704-2388..try calling my room first coz, they'll charge me if u call my cell phone and i'm using prepaid..so, it's expensive..hehe

august 17-1am. Just had my shower and decided to do something to my blog.As you can see, those 2 entries below are written on those dates but, i didn't have internet access on those days and i was kindda busy for the past few days due to the orientation..only managed to upload them today..so, what have i been doing for the past few days? i've been running around doing all my errands..from settling my bank account, buying all the neccessity stuff and getting to know ppl here...well, i would say that i'm enjoying myself so far..met a lot of ppl during the orientation and to my surprise..they're really a lot of international students here..especially china and taiwanese students..koreans too actually..oh, believe it or not, i actually sang rasa sayang with another malaysian girl in front of all international students and some caucasions the other day during dinner!!and gosh..it was one the most embarrasing moments in my life man!!!damn cannot take it..anyway, i had the opportunity to visit joplin city yesterday night thanks to an indian senior..and he brought us to this mall in joplin city which has shops like american eagle and hollister!well, i was pretty excited when i see those shops seriously..coz, the so-called-mall in pittsburg here only has one cinema, 2 restaurants, 1 shop which is somthing like bodyshop and bout 3 shops which sells clothes!how sad rite?that's what they consider a mall..i mean it's even worst than pearl point or parkson near my place k!sigh..but, it's ok..i'm taking it on the positive way...pittsburg's probably a good place for me as there're no place for me to spend my money..hope i won't get addicted to online shopping though..haha..oh, and yess..the indian senior that i was talking about is HOT!haha..he looks like rakish man!!!haha...well, guess that'll be all for today..need to get some rest now as i have to wake up early tomorrow for a farm trip...and yes..u read the right word...it's FARM trip..kpy'll be going for a farm trip tomorrow..walking around the farm under the hot sun without any sun block or umbrella!cool huh?haha..oh ya, some pics here for u guys to c..nites ppl! there's gorrila everywhere in this town..and this one's found in the bank

14th August- 4.30 am. I know u must be wondering what the heck I’m doing writing my new entry at this time. I just couldn’t sleep. Woke up several times and decided to do something instead of just staring at the ceiling…probably it’s the result of not having pillow+ comforter and the cold surrounding due to the aircond..Besides, it’s just scary to be alone in this room as my roomate’s not here yet. Oh, just to let u ppl know, my roommate’s actually an American! Too bad, she’s not here yet..can’t wait to see how is she..hopefully we’ll be fine sleeping in the same room..and guess wat? This place’s superb hot and dry!!!the temperature’s even higher compared to Malaysia! and I actually walked about 30 minutes under the hot sun to the grocery store last afternoon!!unbelievable huh? Guess, I’ll have to do that quite often as that’s the nearest store around..even wallmart’s bout 3 miles away…will have to get a bus or cycle in order to get to wallmart..how sad!neway,u might probably be thinking that it’s okay to walk for 30 mins because it’s a good exercise..but no man! WE as in….ok..i shall come back with this WE later..yeah..WE end up eating a superb HUGE sandwich!!!..i should really describe how HUGE my sandwich is so that u guys can have a rough idea how many calories I’d consumed....i ordered this beef something something sandwich and the amount of beef that they insert’s like 6 cm of beef ham..ok..do they call it beef ham here?haha..i really don’t know..but, u know wat I’m talking bout rite?and the best part is..I FINISHED everything!!basically, I just ate a 12 cm thick of sandwich and some fries alone!! GREAT!well, hopefully my metabolism’ll be good and burn it off asap..haha..okok..shall stop this..back to the WE…luckily I met a few nice ppl here…a 21 year old Taiwanese girl, 22 year old china girl and a 32 year old Korean guy..there are a few other china students but so far, I’m considered close to these 3 ppl as we do most things together..however, things might change once the orientation starts later when we get to meet others…was told that I’m not the only new Malaysia student here..there’s another girl from kdu..but, have not met her yet..looking forward to see her later..hopefully, I’ll be able to make some new friends..wish me luck!!

BORED!
12th August 2007- it’s 8.30 pm right now and I’m still stuck in Los Angeles International AIrport! I’ve been here since 2pm and my next flight is at 11 pm. Gosh! Was still contemplating whether to update my blog or not the other day and decided to do so since I’ve got nothing to do..besides, I’ve actually wrote something bout my last day in California fitness..so, this’s not really the first entry such after a long break..Seriously, sitting alone in this airport with so many unfamiliar faces for such a long time made me reminisced a lot of things in the past..Surprisingly, when I left KLIA this time I didn’t cry..probably because I was in a hurry hence there wasn’t much time for me to berimo imo with my sis they all..but, I just couldn’t control myself when I said the last goodbye to my parents..my heart felt so..hhmm..wat’s the word? Heartbroken?seeing them cried together with me..especially my mum because she has always been a very strong lady..i can seriously count the times that I’ve seen her crying.. it’s just sad to see her like that...Well, will I ever regret with my decision of leaving my comfort zone back in Malaysia to come to this NEWLY UNKNOWN place just to experience something different? Is it worthwhile? Sigh..guess I’ll never know till my uni starts but for now..i have definitely start missing everything back home..from going to the gym daily to hanging out with u guys…especially now that I’m looking back at the pics that we took before this.. guess that’ll all for now..shall update again once I reach there!!

hey peeps...guess this'll be the last update that i'll do b4 declaring that my blog's officially dead..hehe...well, that's because i think i'll be quite busy after coming home..u know..settling all my college stuff and not to forget..meeting u people!!!can't wait man..in another 5 more days and i'll be back in kl!!thinking back..time seriously flies!!i've actually stayed in canada for bout half a year already!! well, just to let u know..today's boxing day!!!guess u must be really eager to listen to my first boxing day shopping experience...basically, i myself was really excited too...could barely sleep yesterday nite...haha.. busy thinking of wat to get..so, yeah..we left the house at 7 am this morning for the largest mall in british columbia called metrotown..the sales actually starts at 8am, but we left at 7 am coz it takes bout an hour drive for us to reach there..and gosh..when we reached...believe it or not..the parking's almost fulled!!!!i was like..wat the heck?i thought all these things only happen in malaysia..neway, i quickly rushed to the shops and whoooaaaa....people were already queing in front of the shops and the lines were freaking long!!!!!was really shocked man!!haha...i also overheard this american eagle salesgirl telling a customer that she herself was surprised when she came to work at 8 because people have already started queing up in front of her shop b4 8!!!and those shops in the mall only allow a number of people in at a time...so, can u just imagine how the whole situation was??it was like..whenever u wanna go in to a shop..u gotta que up first..and if the shop's having crazy sales..be prepared to que for at least 20 minutes..that's not all..after queing for so long..u gotta que again to pay..and those shops were superb hot and stuffy...basically..after doing this in 2 shops..i tak ada mood d..and i had headache when i reached home..conclusion is..boxing day's not really that fun afterall..first time i didn't enjoy shopping..and my bro in law was kindda surprise when he saw me with only a few paper bags..he was like..eh..how come so little stuff only?boxing day wor..i was like yea lor..damn upset..i actually bought lesser stuff on boxing day compared to on normal days..sigh..i think one of the major problem is also knowing that most of the stuff that i've bought are on sales now..that's y i lagi tak ada mood..sigh..sigh..sigh...sad case..neway, when i was doing my shopping, i was thinking..gosh..if people like ms. lim jwei and kim are here...whooaaa..u guys are sure gonna buy stuff like crazy..haha..but, i think it'll be fun to que together..hehe..well, till here then, good nite!!

hi people..haha....bet u guys must be missing me like crazy rite??haha..me too actually..i know it's been a long long time since i last updated my blog..well, to compensate, i've decided to update my blog today...hhmm..just to let u people know, i've reached abbotford already..
this place= hot+rains very often+smells like fertilizer+no shopping mall=DEAD!!!
now, i've just realized that edmonton's a very very nice place..regretted for complaining so much b4 this..sigh..i've been staying at home these past few days watching tvb dramas...but, sis told me that she'll bring me out tomorrow..hehe..we'll be driving around looking for boxing club..coz, we both plan to take up some boxing classes..hopefully we'll be able to find one..oh yeah, forgotten to tell u guys bout my 14 hours drive journey to this place..we didn't actually drive 14 hours one shot..we took 3 days instead..my sis and bro in law took me to this place called banff..it's a really beautiful place..mountains filled with snow and the surrounding's just amazing!!!it's like a winter wonderland!those pics will tell how nice the place actually is...so, remember to visit this place if u were to come to canada...wat else?hhmm, oh, i can't shop d now..i'm OFFICIALLY broke..believe it or not i'm left with bout 13 bucks in my wallet now..sigh..sad case man..haha..but, it's ok..coz, i guess i'm done with shopping d..there're no shopping malls here neway and my 2 luggage bags are FULL!!!!haha..i came with basically nothing except my sis's toys and now i'll be going home with 2 full luggage bags!!haha..actually, there're 3..but, the other one's filled with chocs..so, i dun consider that as mine..haha..counting down the days man!!!here i come malaysia!!!there're bout 38 days more!!!woohooooo!!!

it's 1.27am rite now and i've just reached home from my 1 week's trip to abbotsford..well, i knew this place's much more different compared to edmonton..but, i just didn't expect it to be so DIFFERENT! when i first arrived, i saw this on my way...

and, more of these!!!

so, basically, wat i'm trying to say is..this place's even worst than edmonton!!!it's even sadder..there's no dim sum in this area..so, if we wanna eat dim sum or any nice chinese food..we'll have to travel down to some areas near vancouver..which takes bout 1.5 hours!!well, if u want me to compare this place with a place in malaysia..i'll probably say..sg.buluh..the ulu side of sg.buluh of course..with all those kilang and farms..seriously..the only thing that i see around here's farms..cows..horses..factories..and more farms!!!there's only one thing good bout this place..it's near vancouver..neway, i actually went to vancouver during this trip..my brother in law took me around the busiest street in vancouver..and it's something like bukit bintang..of course..much better..but, everything's pretty much the same...oh, guess wat?i ate a lot during this trip..4 or 5 meals a day! scary?i know..we tried a lot of japanese food and hong kong dim sum!!!!so guys, do not be shock to see the new me!sigh..that's one of the main reason there's none of my pics here..sad!haha..that's y i'm doing some research bout the fitness centre here..hopefully i'll be able to get one...so, that's it for now!

i know..i know..i've not been updating my blog for quite some time..but u people can't really blame me..wat can i blog bout?i'm quite lifeless here...basically..i only do 4 things everyday..i sleep, i eat, i watch tv and i online!that's it..oohh, guess wat peeps?i'm starting to be a good christian now..i actually go for sunday service nowadays and i really enjoy myself..not to c those cute hongkies..but, to listen to god's word..so mich and yan..u guys should be proud of me!neway..yea..there's something new today..haha..at last..after waiting for bout 2 months, my sis's house received an offer today..and it was sold off immediately..meaning..i'll be leaving for abborsford in bout 3 weeks time...so VANCOUVER...HERE I COME!!!EDMONTON..BYE BYE!!!haha..damn lame...serious, edmonton's such a dead place..nothing compared to KL!!!sigh..though this city has the largest mall..but, it's still not as good as mv...no kidding! and the worst thing is, i've actually walk around the mall for more than..uncountable!!i can now tell u where the shops are located...there was once i was out there with my sis and she was looking for this shop..and i was like..oh..u wanna go to that shop?it's just at the end there...and my sis was like..my gosh..u actually know the place better than i do!i was like..duh?this's like the only place that i can hang out in..so,yeah..it's that BAD!hhmm..forget bout those..well..i'm financially thight these days..can't imagine how i can spend my days in vancouver with so little money..tried hinting to my dad that i'm in need of some cash..but FAILED...told him that i've been spending quite a bit coz i bought lots of stuff for him hoping that he might ask me whether i need some cash or not...unfortunately..he didn't get it and ended up lecturing me., asking me not to spend so much and bla bla bla..sigh..so, guess i'll have to start saving from now onwards(:

though it's still summer..the weather's freaking cold these days..it's 2 degress rite now..and my whole body's actually freezing..been having a termos filled with hot water with me wherever i go because having a sip of hot water..nomatter wat drink izzit really feels good..and the sky starts getting dark by 8:30pm nowadays compared to when i first came..where the sky only got dark at 11:30pm.. hhmm..have been quite busy for the past few days...went out a couple of times..to the same old place though..did the same old things too..hehe...oh, my sis's church friends threw a fairwell party for us on the last wed ..therefore, i was busy cooking the whole day that day...guess wat i cooked?i actually cooked bak kut teh and fried tom yam squid!!unbelievable?believe it!hehe..and everyone commented on how good they were..damn..should have taken some pics for u guys to c..at least u know..to prove that i really cooked..neway..i bake 2 chocolate cakes too!hehe..didn't know that i was SO good in cooking..nah.actually i know..but, just didn't know it was THAT good..hehe..no worries..when i'm back..i shall cook some for u guys to try..hehe..neway, i'm confirmed d coming back on the 1st of january..bought my tics last thurs..so, make sure u people out there are free yea when i call to ask u out:)

well..went to west edmonton mall today after staying at home for the past 2 weeks....came home feeling a little dissapointed..not because i didn't get anything..but, because i spent too much..i know u guys will scold me..but, b4 i left..i really did tell myself that i must limit my spending d..coz, i'm only left with a few hundred bucks which gotta last me till the end of dec!besides..i'm actually plannning to get an ipod video during boxing day..but, looking at the way i spend..i guess i might not be able to get it..hhmm..so, i brought$140 with me today..$60's for emergency use...i told myself..i can only use a max of $80..mana tahu..i came back with $10!!!wat a failure..but, u guys can't really blame me..the stuff here's really cheap.bout 15 .bucks for a cool graphic t shirt...who wouldn't buy rite???i bet u guys would probably get 10 or 20..haha..i just dunno why the idea of converting didn't occur to me...neway, back to wat i spent on today..i bought this really nice dress..yeah..u saw the right word..it's a DRESS...haha..a sexy halter neck dress..haha..and guess wat?it's a size s..i know..i know..u guys will surely say i damn pai ka..but, i purposely buy to motivate myself to diet..hopefully..by the time i'm back..i'll be able to fit into it..if not..that might be an extra gift for one of u guys:)however..do not be that evil to pray that i fail just to get that dress yea...hehe..kidding!!!

well..since ms.yanny and kim told me that they plan to make strawberry tiramisu..i decided to bake something also during weekend..hence, i told my sis and bro in law that i wanna bake cheese cake but unfortunately..we dun have any mixer..so, went to walmart with my bro in law that day itself and bought one!!haha..then, came home and made it straight away..so, here it is..a cheese cake made by ME..please dun be decieved by its look because it tasted really good..hehe..shall bake one for u guys when i'm back!

Introducing my baby nephew, MALCOLM LIEW..well, since u guys requested for his pics..i've decided to put up some here for u guys to c..just to let u guys know..he's 7.8 lbs and 20.5 inches long..pheewww..till now, the whole process of my sis delivering's still fresh in my mind..i seriously wonder how do some people actually managed to deliver a 10lbs baby!!!though the whole process was extremely..hhmm..not too sure wat word shall i use to decribe it..however, after the baby was born..i guess it's all worth it...after my sis delievered..my tears started rolling down...just didn't know y..guess i was just too touched and happy...few things bout this baby..he's quite strong (probably i cook too much spinach for my sis..so, he's like baby popeye now..hehe)..loves to put his hand up when he sleeps just like one of the pics above..has big foot (just like me!)..experience hiccups frequently..and sometimes farts pretty loud!!lol!!after taking care of this baby for bout a week, i personally realize that having a baby's really not an easy task and i learn to appreciate my parents more though i've always been..but, it's much more now..
